Tomatoes + Green chilies — Tomatoes and green chilies enliven the recipe while imparting more flavor and color to it.  Garlic powder — Subtle zest added to the corn dip with garlic powder helps elevate the overall flavor of the recipe. Sour Cream + Cream Cheese — The cheesy creaminess and subtle tang that makes this corn dip completely irresistible comes from sour cream and cream cheese! These ingredients create a creamy base and thick consistency for the dip. Full-fat sour cream is best for the creamiest dip. Avoid low-fat sour cream, making the dip runny and not as delectable.  Mayonnaise — It renders the corn dip a creamy texture and subtle flavor. Cheese — Shredded cheese adds creaminess and tons of flavor to the corn dip. You can use the cheese of your choice. I have used a mix of Colby & Monterey Jack. Onions — Finely chopped red onions are added for maximum flavor and a delightful crunch. Chili flakes — For that delightfully knocking punch! Instant Yeast — I have added Instant Yeast to the dough. You can add active dry Yeast, but instant Yeast saves the rising time.  Sugar — A subtle sweetness from sugar adds more flavor to the bread. Unsalted Butter — Butter adds the desired amount of moisture to the bread to make it fluffier and richer in texture. Milk — Creates more luscious and softer bread with a velvety texture and tender crumb.

Variations of cheese — I have used Colby and Monterey Jack cheese to make this lip-smacking Pull-Apart Holiday Wreath Bread with Corn Dip recipe. Cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, or Mexican cheese also makes a great choice. So, you can use any of these. Veggies for extra delight — Add vegetables like mushrooms, black olives, banana peppers, and Jalapeno peppers to make this cheesy corn dip more nutritious and scrumptiously delicious.  Baking alternatives — A Cast-iron skillet makes a great alternative to the oven for baking this cheesy corn dip. You can use a 17-inch cast-iron skillet for this purpose. Turn it gluten-free — Serve this creamy, cheesy corn dip with veggie sticks, gluten-free crackers, or tortilla chips for a gluten-free treat. Alternate for fresh bread — Homemade fresh bread can be replaced with store-bought pizza dough or frozen rolls to make the gorgeous pull-apart wreath bread that makes a delicious combo with the cheesy corn dip.  Alternatives to butter  — I have used unsalted butter to make my wreath bread. You can use olive, canola, sunflower, or even melted coconut oil for the bread dough.

Bake the bread just right — Avoid over-baking the bread, as it will turn the bread dry and crumbly.  To fix the sticky bread dough — If you feel the dough is a little sticky, add a tablespoon of flour and knead the dough again.  Parchment paper eases the de-molding — Lining the greased baking tray with parchment paper eases the slide-out further.   For soft dough — Kneading helps enhance the elasticity of the dough, which makes perfectly soft and fluffy bread. So, please consider this step as important.
