Starting this week till November – Indian calendar is filled with a lot of festivities like – Janmashtami, Teej, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, and Diwali. So what does that mean? It means its time for mouthwatering sweets, treats, decorations, fun-frolic, and extravagant feasts. It’s by far, my favorite time of the year!
Festivals in India are incomplete without sweets. Desserts/mithai on a celebration is a mandatory part of Indian culture. So, let’s celebrate India’s diverse festivals with the sweetness of these yummy and delicious ladoo recipes.
WONDERING WHAT IS A LADOO OR LADDU?
Laddu or laddoo are round-shaped sweets made mostly of flour (flour vary by the recipe), sugar and nuts. They form an essential part of festival feasts. Whether be Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri or Holi, this is one of the must-have sweet in every household and are often distributed during religious ceremonies. None of the Indian festival or occasions are complete without Ladoos.
